Ingredients:

  • 40 g of oats
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweetener (optional)
  • Second layer:
    • 10g dark chocolate (dairy-free and sugar-free)
    • 10g high protein plain yogurt (coconut based)
    • 5 to 10 ml of oat milk
    • 2 tablespoons hazelnut butter
    • A few crushed hazelnuts to serve (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the oat layer:
    • Mix oats, water and sweetener (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl until well combined.
    • Microwave for 1 minute, then stir and let cool slightly.
  2. Prepare the second layer:
    • In a separate bowl, mix together the coconut yogurt and hazelnut butter until well combined.
    • Spread this mixture over the cooled oat layer.
  3. Prepare the chocolate layer:
    • Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until completely melted.
    • Add the melted chocolate to a bowl with the yogurt and oat milk. Mix well until smooth.
    • Spread this chocolate mixture on the layer of yogurt and hazelnuts.
  4. Refrigerate:
    • Place the assembled layers in a jar or container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
  5. Serve:
    • Before serving, crush some hazelnuts and sprinkle them on top for added texture and flavor.
