- 500g flour (type 45)
- 2 eggs
- 18g fresh yeast
- 50g butter
- 3-4 tablespoons of sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 205 ml of milk
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar

- Start by dissolving the fresh yeast in the lukewarm milk. Stir gently and let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when it starts to bubble and become foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, vanilla sugar and eggs. Start mixing everything together and knead the dough for about 5 minutes to develop its texture.
- Add the softened butter to the dough and knead it again for another 5 minutes until the butter is completely incorporated and the dough becomes smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours. The dough should roughly double in volume during this time.
