- About 20 waffles (for a 22 cm springform pan)
- For the cream:
- 300 g of mascarpone
- 500 g of heavy cream
- 1.5 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- About 350 g of strawberries
For garnish :
- Powdered sugar
- 200g heavy whipped cream
- Fresh strawberries
Instructions:
- Prepare the cream:
- In a bowl, beat the mascarpone, heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Wash the strawberries, cut them into small cubes and gently incorporate them into the cream mixture.
- Prepare the waffles:
- Arrange about 10 waffles on a work surface and use a cake ring fitted to the size of your springform pan to cut them to size. Repeat this process with the remaining waffles.
- Assemble the cake:
