Ingredients:
- Caramel:
- 200g caster sugar
- 120 ml of water
- Flan:
- 4 eggs
- 300 ml of milk
- 397 g of condensed milk
- 8g vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract)
- Chocolate cake:
- 2 eggs
- 175 g dark brown sugar
- 8g vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract)
- 0.2 g of salt
- 150 ml of milk
- 120 ml of sunflower oil
- 60g cocoa powder
- 140g flour
- 16g of baking powder
Instructions:
- Prepare the caramel: Cook the sugar and water until golden brown. Pour into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Flan mix: Mix the eggs, milk, condensed milk and vanilla. Pour over the caramel.
- Chocolate cake batter: Mix the eggs, sugars, salt, milk and oil. Sift together the cocoa, flour and baking powder. Carefully pour over the flan mixture.
- Cook: Cook in a bain-marie until the cake is set and the flan is firm.
- Cool and serve: Refrigerate until completely chilled. Invert onto a plate to serve.
- Garnish: Optionally, garnish with nuts and fresh fruit.
