- Ingredients:
- 110 ml of lukewarm milk
- 5 g of dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 60 g of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla powder
- 230 g of flour
- 50 g of powdered milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 40 g soft butter
- 60 g of chocolate chips
- Instructions:
- Start by mixing the lukewarm milk and yeast and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add the egg, sugar and vanilla powder, mixing well.
- Add the flour, milk powder and salt, mixing until well combined. Then add the butter and knead until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rise at room temperature for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Deflate and roll out the dough, then add the chocolate chips and form a ball. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little oil on top to make handling easier.
- Let the dough rise for another hour. Preheat the oven to 170°C (338°F).
- Brush the dough with egg yolk, make a slit in the side and bake for 20 minutes.
