Ingredients:
- 225 grams of whole wheat flour
- 100 grams of all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 125 grams of sugar
- 75 ml of vegetable oil
- 6 grams of baking powder
- 15 grams of cocoa powder
- Vanilla extract or vanillin
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla and oil.
- Gradually add the sifted flours and baking powder, mixing until the dough is smooth and firm.
- Divide the dough in half. Half add the cocoa powder and knead until evenly colored.
- Chill both portions of dough in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Spread each dough into rectangles on parchment paper. Spread the plain dough over the cocoa dough, press gently, then roll firmly to form a log.
- Cool the log in the refrigerator for another 15 minutes.
- Cut the log into 1/2 cm thick biscuits using a sharp knife.
- Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them well apart.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for approximately 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool.
