Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken with a sweet and spicy glaze, topped with sesame seeds and spring onions

Ingredients:
Chicken marinade:
- 650 g chicken breast cut into cubes
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of garlic powder
Beat:
- 1 egg
- 60g cornstarch (a little less than half a cup)
- 60 g all-purpose flour (a little less than half a cup)
- 150 ml of sparkling mineral water
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- Salt, to taste
Sauce:
- 1.5 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 large clove of garlic, chopped
- 4 tablespoons of ketchup
- 4 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
Garnish:
- Chili peppers, sliced
- Sesame seeds
- Spring onions, chopped
Instructions:
- Season the cubed chicken breasts with black pepper and garlic powder.
- For the dough, whisk together the egg, cornstarch, flour, soda water, garlic powder, black pepper, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Coat the seasoned chicken with this mixture and refrigerate for 1 hour.
